What's It Like?

New Phila Nazarene exists to guide the unloved into the loving embrace of Jesus.

Every weekend we gather for a celebration of worship. We have a variety of things happening in our celebrations, most of which you would find in any church.

We sing together. Some of our songs may be familiar and some may not. We love music and we love to sing!

We pray together. The prayer altars of our place of worship are a rich part of who we are as Nazarenes, so we love to pray together and for one another. It's not uncommon to see people coming to the altar at any point of one of our celebrations.

We learn together. Our teaching comes from one of our pastors and is straight from the Word of God. We value practical and applicable teaching that will equip us to live life.

We remember together. The sacrament of communion is important to us and we pause to remember it at least once per month, and usually on the 1st Sunday. Our Communion Table is an open table, which means you do not have to be a member of our church to join with us.

We give together. We have the privilege of giving our tithes and offerings as part of our celebration, recognizing and thanking God for all He has given us.

When you arrive, you will be greeted by some of our Connect Team members who will show you where to go and make you feel comfortable. Our children start in worship with us each week and then head down for age appropriate teaching midway through our celebrations. Your children are always welcome to stay with you if you would like, in fact, we would love it! The first Sunday of every month is Family Sunday and on those special days, our children stay with us for the entire service. Those days are always fun. We also provide a nursery for ages birth through 2 1/2 that is available every weekend, but you are welcome to keep any of your children with you.

What Are You Waiting For?

We have two opportunities to come to church every Sunday. Join us at 9 or 11 AM. We start right on time, so it's a good idea to arrive about 10-15 minutes early to find a parking place, get connected and find a seat. If you have children, you will also need to make sure they are checked in before service starts. This layer of security helps us protect your children when they head to their teaching time later in the morning.

Our services are held in our main sanctuary, which is on the Fair Ave side of our campus. The main doors face Fair Ave and there is a handicap accessible ramp on the 3rd Street side of our campus, as well. Either of those entries take you directly to our main sanctuary.

We have no dress code and we dress in a variety of ways. If we're being totally honest, you will be hard- pressed to find a suit and tie, so we don't want you to feel like you have to have one of those to show up! Come as you are, because that's how we come.

We are going to ask you to connect with us, so don't worry about it! We want to meet you, to know what you're looking for and help you find that here. If it's not here, and that could be, we want to help you find a good, Jesus-loving and Jesus-following fellowship where you can find what you need. Our Connect Card helps us connect with everyone every week. Just fill it out and turn it in. We look forward to getting to know you.

When you leave, don't forget the children! You will need your security check-in stub from earlier. We require these from parents and guardians for your safety and for ours.

If you can be on our campus this weekend, you can always join us live online or check out one of our past celebrations.
