Oikos is a Greek word meaning ‘family.’ Fittingly, this is a family-style small group for adults of all ages learning to walk with Christ as we walk the Christian life together. As we gather, we will share a meal, study, worship, and spend time in prayer. Children are more than welcome and will have space to play.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the most often asked questions about our fellowship. If you have more questions, please feel free to contact us if you have others!

What is available for kids?

NPNaz Kids is committed to being a place where your children can learn, grow AND have fun.

We have the following children's environments on Sunday morning:

Nursery
Our nursery space is staffed by trained and background-checked volunteers. Birth through age 3 is allowed in our Nursery and it is available for almost every event we have. There are age-appropriate toys for your children to play with and the environment is cleaned and sanitized weekly.

Birth-5th Grade
NPNaz Kids is our fun and interactive teaching and worship environment offered during our Sunday Service. All our teachers are trained, certified for safety, and will take wonderful care of your children!

What do you do to help keep my children safe?

We utilize a comprehensive background check system through Ministry Safe. Each of our volunteers are trained and tested, ensuring their understanding of providing a safe and healthy environment for your children. Children are checked in through our Planning Center Check-In system before Sunday morning worship and all other major children's ministry events.

What is available for my teenagers?

NPNaz YTH is our youth ministry program, and is open to 6th - 12th grade students. For a complete listing of NPNaz YTH events and activities, please click here

What is the music like?

We are a contemporary church, using many of the modern and familiar worship songs. Our goal is to create an environment where the focus is on God and bringing him glory as opposed to directing our attention to anyone on the platform. We carefully choose our music to be Scripturally sound, God-honoring, and engaging for all ages.

You can check out our current playlist of worship songs below.

What do people wear?

We have a wide variety of attire each weekend and would tell you to come just as you are. There is no dress code. We want you to be comfortable and welcome.

What time should I show up?

We recommend showing up about 10-15 minutes before service starts, especially if you have children. This will allow you time to get them checked in, you can grab a cup of coffee, and say hi to folks before we get started.

How can I get involved?

The best way to get involved is to plan to be a part of our NEXT Steps classes. During this time, you will learn about who we are, what we believe, and we will talk about how you can become a part of what is happening at NPNaz.

We have NEXT Steps classes 3-4 times per year. To see if NEXT Steps is coming soon, check out the Church Center App or ask one of our pastoral staff members.
